Kendall Akins

Certified Instructor – Taekwondo Program

Miss Kendall began her Taekwondo journey in February 2014 at the age of seven, training under Master Joseph Seo and Assistant Instructor Jessie Smith. From the very beginning, she demonstrated exceptional dedication, discipline, and a passion for martial arts.

In 2015, Miss Kendall joined the Leadership Program, where she began developing the skills necessary to mentor and assist new students. Through years of consistent training and service, she steadily advanced in both her martial arts abilities and leadership responsibilities.

In October 2021,  Miss Kendall graduated from the Leadership Program and advanced into the C.I.T. (Certified Instructor Training) Program. At that time, she was promoted to Assistant Instructor and began leading both the Little Tigers and Junior Taekwondo programs. Her positive attitude, patience, and strong leadership quickly made her an invaluable part of the instructional team.

In May 2023, she tested for and earned her Adult Black Belt (1st Dan Kukkiwon, Moo Duk Kwan, and Unified Taekwondo Association), marking a significant milestone in her martial arts career.

On January 28, 2025, Miss Kendall successfully completed the C.I.T. Program and earned her 2nd Dan Black Belt through Kukkiwon, Moo Duk Kwan, and the Unified Taekwondo Association. This achievement recognized years of dedication to both her personal training and her service as an instructor.

Since becoming an certified Instructor, Miss Kendall has remained the full-time instructor for both the Little Tigers and Youth Taekwondo programs. Her commitment to helping young students develop confidence, discipline, respect, and perseverance has made her a favorite among students and parents alike.

Today, Miss Kendall continues to play a vital role in the growth and success of the Taekwondo program, serving as a dedicated mentor and role model for the next generation of martial artists.
