Tanner Johnson

Tanner Johnson began his martial arts journey in 2010 at the age of 10. He started in BMA’s Junior Kids class and quickly progressed to the teen and adult class. 

Tanner has competed in numerous tournaments throughout Georgia, Florida and Alabama. He has won multiple first places in junior and adult black belt divisions as well as tournament Grand Champion. He is a 2 time World Yoshukai Open Karate forms and weapons Grand Champion.

Tanner is always training and pushing himself to limits to test his skills. His latest challenge was competing in the Oyama Cup bare knuckle full contact fights placing second place in the tournament in his weight division.

He currently serves as a primary instructor for the kids classes at BMA.
