Chris Hutcherson

Chris began his martial arts journey at BMA in February 2013, earning his Shodan rank (1st degree) in 2019. He continued his training earning his Nidan rank (2nd degree) in 2021.

Senpai Hutcherson is a 16 year Albany Police Dept veteran holding the rank of Lieutenant. He’s a firearms instructor and Defensive Tactics instructor for the department.

Chris also has 18 years military service in the Army National Guard being deployed to Afghanistan. He was awarded the Purple Heart  and the Combat Action badge for his wounds and service.
